Self-Resizing Flash Files

Well, it looks like the self-resizing flash object (the combo box in the sidebar) is not 100% compatible with all browsers/os. So far it looks like it works fine on all my Windows IEs, on my Mac Explorer the flash file simply does not show, on Netscape 6.2 Windows the box is 300 pixels high and covers all the underlying text, plus the complete layout is garbled.

Of course I also tried to place the flash file into a floating layer, but somehow then the size does not get updated. Looks like I have to do some systematic testing there.

Oh yes it looks like something on my site tends to crash certain browsers. I'm very sorry, but I haven't yet found out what si causing that.

I've done experiments with Flash in layers before. Check out how http://www.werkstatte.com works, it might give you some ideas.
