David Emberton opened Pandora's Box when he rambled about "Why the latest Flash hype makes me nervous." on Actionscript.com. This is definitely worth reading, though his relations to Adobe add a special taste to this thread.

Chris MacGregor is obviously not amused and adds his opinion on Flazoom.com.

I am fluttered by this statement which I found among the comments: 'As for the question, "Would Amazon.com replace its store with a Flash movie?" Well, if it is anything like Quasimondo's Amazon Explorer, I would use it.'
