They Call It FASL

Mike Chambers has started a community project called Flash ActionScript Standard Library (short FASL) on Sourceforge.net. As previously discussed on Flashcoders the goal will be to create a standardized library of actionscript utilities and classes. If you want to join the development team, you can send an email to one of the admins. There is also a developers' mailinglist which you can subscribe to.

hehe, I am hoping people will refer to it as ActionScript Standard Library, or ASL. However, the ASL project name was already taken at sourceforge.

I was a little confused, at first, by your automatic search engine results, not realising at first that they weren't your own hand-picked links!
