Ha ha ha- they are not only slow in displaying flash... (I've got two of these overpriced "computers" myself, but I don't think that I will ever buy them again)

It's really wierd to see this sort of thing...
The two platforms are just.. different. I switched about 6 months ago and quite frankly I couldn't be happier.
So what if it takes 2 seconds longer to run a filter...
My TiBook running Jaguar makes me 2x -3x as productive as my pc does because so much stuff really does just work.
Now don't get me wrong I won't be getting rid of my PC rig anytime soon. There are somethings you just need a PC for. But when it comes down to the majority of my work my TiBook is where it's at. Remember - you don't spend all day interacting with hardware other than the monitor, keyboard and mouse - it's the software that really matters.
Posted by: Branden on March 26, 2003 11:46 PMI agree with Branden here. I have always had both platforms, but can't work without my mac. The comfort I get from the UI and the great workflow tools(applescript, and the shell) make me indeed a lot more productive.
I'm however saddened by the slowness of the UI, but I'm confident that this will pass.
