Flash To Video

There are a few tools out there that allow you to convert swf file to a video format like Quicktime or avi. The problem with almost all of them is that they fail as soon as you are using actionscripted animation. That's where swf2avi by pizzinini.net comes in handy - these guys had a simple idea: play a flash file veeerryy slow and simply take a screenshot every second - voila: like this you really get what you see! It maybe take a while, but hey - it's free!

I find that director does this just fine, but some may not have director.

i could have used this last week. but also discovered the director solution. you can import a mx swf into director mx, with all actionscript supported, and output to quicktime.
