Flash MX 2004 Comes In Two Flavours

My first day back from holidays and it looks like it's a heavy news day: Today Macromedia announced Studio MX 2004 the long awaited update of the MX family. Of course most interesting for me is the new Flash and here we have a first surprise: from now on there will be two different versions: Flash MX 2004 ($499, Upgrades $199) and Flash MX Professional 2004 ($699, Upgrades $299). As you might guess the Professional version offers a bunch of features more than the standard version. Check out this comparison chart to see the new featuers and the differences.

There is no free trial version yet, but you can sign up for early notification.

Hello,

I have had the pleasure of reviewing the new version. You can read it here:

It contains alot of information about the new features, with screenshots and content that cannot be found on the MM website. Also, as a deverloper, I paid alot of attention to AS 2 :)
