On November 21st I will be speaking at shockwards 2003 in Stuttgart. I'm very happy that they invited me again especially as my topic this year will be "Candle-Dripping - Inspirational Coding by Nature". Yes, I will be deconstructing my upcoming candle component (for reference check out last year's candlelight xmas countdown) seasoned with some excursions into physics, mathematics and Julio Iglesias.

This year's line-up is indeed impressing: I'm looking forward to meet André Michelle finally in person. I hopefully will have another drink with Claus "Grey Box" Wahlers and Florian "3D" Krüsch (though I will probably not see Ralf bOOPelberg undress again in front of the doorman). It looks like almost every member of the German Flash Conference Mafia will be there: Mathias Kannengießer, Carlo Blatz, Joscha Feth, Holger Eggert and of course Macromedia's team for Germany Ralf Weiss and Stefan Prestele.
