It looks like Kartoo - the meta search engine which uses a Flash frontend - has undergone some major update. They have improved the layout - more text, less cartoon style - it's still too blue for my taste - why don't they use the cool new white background+soft gradients look? What looks really nice are the theme maps that Kartoo creates from the search results. But the bigger update is under the hood - quote:

3.A high performance and easy to use monitoring system

This could almost be called a RIA.
