As we are approaching the coming of the next version of Flash, Macromedia has released the beta version of the new Flash Player 8 today. Of course the first thing that everybody wants to do now is to try out all the new announced features. But actually that's not what you should put all your energy into at the moment.
It is much more important that you check all your old sites and projects and make sure that everything still looks right and functions properly. As you can guess from all the previews and previous announcements, huge changes to the Flash Player have been made in this release - so there is always a chance that something doesn't behave the same as before. So if you find something like that - send your feedback to Macromedia - I'm sure that it will be heard and if possible fixed before the final release.
