SWF 8 Version Converter
Of course some of you couldn't wait to try out the new features of the Flash Player 8. But just like two years ago all your attempts to iterate through the internal objects or use them will fail if you don't change the internal version number of the swf to "8". For those who don't know how to use a hex editor for that I've created an updated version of my Flash Version Converter which does that for you.
But don't forget to continue testing!

No need for hex editors
i hope it’ll help you guyz in testing latest FP8 features.

All samples show the filters but what about the fantastic ohter new features like file handling (up-/download) ???
that would be much more interesting for me.
Hab es gleich mal ins Flashforum gepostet. :)

Does anyone know if it possible to use the hacked flash player 8 inside the authoring to avoid the boring check everytime in the browser? (cool info anyway :))
Great stuff, just made this little experiment with new blending modes and Bitmap operaions... As I saw these I understood, that soon Flash will change JAVA in Mobile games ;) Oh, and here is the URL:
