Scripted Tweening News

Daniel Wabyick from fluid.com has updated his Tween Playground and the underlying Fluid Tweener Class so it plays nicely now with AS2.0. So if you are not satisfied with Flash's out-of-the-box Strong.easeIn or Regular.easeInOut but want the full Penner Easing Package you should check it out.

And you also might want to have a look at Filippo Gregoretti's new blog Pippo Flash that he just started with his Smooth Mover class which is an easy way to generate scripted organic looking tweens.

Hello Mario

I'm still with the old school Zigo implementation - now called Fuse and being developed by http://www.mosessupposes.com/fuse/
There used to be benchmarks comparing different tween implementations of Penner's formulas ( like http://laco.wz.cz/tween/?page=benchmark ) - I wonder how the new Smooth Mover class compares to the other older ones...
