In all my excitement about the arrival of my new Chumby I forgot to mention the most important thing: I would have never received one of those hadn't it been for the legendary negotiation skills of my man Shawn Pucknell. He managed to talk the Chumby guys out of a whole bunch of those amazing widgets for almost all his FITC speakers. And from what I heard they might be giving away a few more during their session on FITC Toronto 2007.
Which brings me to another point - yes, this year's first FITC conference is just around the corner. The motto is Panic! Don't Panic! and believe me - this year it will be the biggest and best FITC ever - it's full 3 days (and nights) starting on April 22nd. There are an amazing 77 sessions to choose from, the speaker line-up is of course top-notch and I know that it wouldn't be Shawn if we can't expect some cool unexpected surprises that he will pull out of the hat. If you want the perfect mixture of creativity and technology - look no further.
BTW - on FITC I will also premier my brand new session "The Blind Sketchmaker" where I will maybe answer the question "Can computers create art? All by themselves?"
